However, the cost of those 2 days is almost as much as renting a car for 5 days because of the premium charged for dropping off at a different location from the pickup location.
I really only need a car for going to Stockyards on 7/4 but since we are already at the airport, might as well pick it up from there and drop it off off downtown on 7/5. I am debating whether or not just to take UberX vs renting a car. We will be going for an event at the Kay Bailey Hutchison for 3 days, and try to sneak in some sightseeing the rest of the time - realistically, I think we only have time for Dealey Plaza/Book Repository Museum and a day trip to the Stockyards. We will be in Dallas for 5 days next week for a fencing tournament, arriving at DFW from 7/3-7/7 and staying downtown at the Westin.
